·         Two (“2”)  HW Board design engineers

·       Typical background would be

o        M.Eng or B.Eng Degree in Automatic Control or Electrical Engineering with 4 to 10 years relevant work experience.
• Work experience with electronic hardware design is a must

o        • Schematics capture and PCB layout experiences

o       • Experience with full life cycle of electronics product development is strongly preferred.

o       • Six Sigma and LEAN experience desirable

 

Role: Responsible for designing and developing electronic devices and systems for new products, or product improvement or redesign. Essential job functions include requirements analysis and specification, system specification, system design, system implementation, working with the procurement process, and testing and troubleshooting.  Other responsibilities may include project management, manufacturing support, field failure analysis, developing and maintaining hardware development procedures and training technical support staff and customers on device functionality and usage.

Design Engineers are expected to actively participate in many aspects of product development: specification, circuit board design, schematic capture, PCB layout, upfront component price negotiation, board debug, standards testing, design validation, and product support.
