Position: Senior Analyst Programmer (SAP)/Application Consultant(AC) (iSeries Products)
 
Organization Structure
 
Reporting to the China Development Center Manager, the incumbent has no subordinates reporting to him but he will be expected to pass on his knowledge and skills to other members of staff.
 
When working on client sites, the incumbent will report to the Project Manager.
 
Job Dimensions
 
Will be responsible for developing, implementing and supporting iSeries (CSC Asia’s insurance systems, LIFE/Asia, POLISY/Asia. GROUP/Asia) in China and other installation sites in Asia.
 
Major Responsibilities


·         Development of functionality to meet defined business requirements
·         Unit testing of functionality to ensure compliance with business requirements
·         Analysis of problems and implementation of appropriate technical solutions
 
Ideal Person
·         Minimum two years commercial experience in insurance programming for SAP. Minimum 4 years experience of work in insurance industry for AC.
·         Previous experience in implementing Life Insurance solutions is an advantage
·         Knowledge of AS/400 and/or COBOL are an advantages
·         Able to communicate in English in writing. Able to communicate in English is an advantage.
