PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This position is within the SAP Engagement Architect Practice of SAP Active Global Support (SAP AGS). The SAP Engagement Architect Practice is chartered to design and manage collaborative engagements between SAP AGS and large customers. This position works closely with the Account Executives, Account Support, and TQMs to architect, position and deliver SAP
MaxAttention Engagements for large customers. The Engagement Architect (EA) is accountable for the development of the unique value proposition, the quarterly delivery of the balance score card review with the customer¡¯s executives (C-level and VP) and overall success and quality of the MaxAttention engagement.
The EA is ultimately responsible for the execution of the MaxAttention contracts. Each EA will be accountable for up to 5 MaxAttention customers.

# Responsible to architect the engagement model based on a profound understanding of the customer situation including core business functions, technical requirements, organizational structure, customer¡¯s center of excellence maturity level, and company goals
# Works closely with account teams to define and position collaborative engagements with SAP Active Global Support
# Defines customized value proposition for collaborative engagements via:
¨C Value Engineering assessment
¨C Results of the Engagement Architect lead workshop
# Defines strategy for positioning together with account team
# Provides pre-sales support to account teams to position engagement Setup
# Prepares and conducts introduction of SAP MaxAttention engagement to the customer¡®s executive level for collaboration and sign-off of:
o Goals and KPIs for the Balanced Score Card
o Governance model with customers
# Defines the delivery resources skill set requirements
# Accountable for definition and delivery of action plan
Delivery phase
# As lead, responsible for guiding and coaching Technical Quality Managers to ensure execution and quality of the contract deliverables
# Accountable for decision making during the escalation of critical situations
# Validates Balanced Score Card, achievements, and top issues before executive meetings
# Delivers executive meetings with TQM and ensures follow-up of those meetings
# Accountable for contract renewal
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
# Master¡¯s degree required
# Backgrounds in project management with focus on flexible, strategic thinking, structured project management skills, and demonstrated ability to work with customer¡¯s senior-level management
# Successful candidates will couple high intellectual ability with strong 'people skills' in helping positioning and setup of collaborative engagements with customers and eventually partners
# Broad understanding of SAP Solutions and NetWeaver Technology
# Broad understanding of SAP organization and service strategy and portfolio
# Broad understanding of SAP Solution Manager strategy and scenarios
# Desired experience as Technical Quality Manager
WORK EXPERIENCE
Requires at least 5 to 10 of professional experience in the area of SAP Support / Consulting Services / Development.
